Handcrafted entirely from solid 925 sterling silver, the classic Standard Viceroy Victorian is the epitome of YARD-O-LED quality and design, a collection to suit all writing styles.

The Victorian pattern is applied entirely by hand, exactly as Birmingham silversmiths would have finished silverware and writing instruments in the Victorian era, before mechanized engine turning became the industry standard. This pattern has been achieved with up to 3,000 hand-chasing taps.

The pattern exists for two reasons: practically, the hand-chased texture provides a secure grip on the silver barrel, while aesthetically, it showcases the exceptional level of craftsmanship of Yard-O-Led's jewelers.

No two Victorian pattern pens are identical, and each hand chaser develops their own slight variation on the pattern. Subsequently, our workshop can identify whose work a pen is, just by looking at it, when it comes back for servicing even decades later.
