About Otto Hutt

For almost 100 years, Otto Hutt has been producing writing instruments and accessories with the greatest care, using a wide range of process technologies.

For many decades, the fate of the Otto Hutt company lay in the hands of the Hutt family - first founded in 1920 by Karl Hutt, later successfully continued over a long period of time by his son Otto, to whom the brand owes its name to this day. As a resident of Pforzheim - the "Gold city" - Karl Hutt transferred the idea of the bauhaus style to new products and founded a company for pocket utensils and fine writing instruments made of silver.

The highest quality is reflected above all in the details. This includes aspects such as high-quality workmanship, attractive design and excellent customer service. Products from otto hutt fulfil these requirements to perfection. This is ensured not least by the constant further development of the company's own manufacturing expertise.

Otto Hutt products are subject to a constant testing process. Each writing instrument is inspected by hand to ensure one hundred percent quality. Only when all quality criteria are met do the fountain pens, ballpoint pens, rollerballs and mechanical pencils receive the "Made in Germany" rating. An essential part of the quality check is the writing test that all writing instruments run through: The nibs are on their functionality, line thickness and manageability tested and controlled.

Every person is unique - just like every writing instruments from Otto Hutt is unique.
